About Me

Hello! I'm Matt, the FI Security Guy. I'm a cybersecurity professional with over almost 20 years of experience protecting digital assets and infrastructure. My journey in IT security has taught me the importance of identifying risks, planning for the future, and building resilient systems.

These same principles have guided me in my pursuit of financial independence. Just as I secure environments against threats, I'm securing my financial future through strategic planning, smart investing, and continuous learning.

My goal is to achieve financial independence by age 50, allowing me to work on passion projects, contribute to the cybersecurity community, and mentor the next generation of security professionals - all on my own terms.
